Portfolio and its Presentation

As a wedding photographer, it is essential for me to showcase my work in a consistent portfolio. My website and online portfolio displayed is the first step for potential customers to contact me and enquire about my packages and prices. However, it is also important to give a good insight on my work during the client meetings.

I have realised that discussing the process of photography during the client’s wedding day is best supported by printed portfolio. As a result, I have created a range of photo albums which present the highlights of most important moments of a wedding day.

During our consultation the clients are able to view the albums and their quality. This is also an opportunity to upgrade my services at the later stage and include an album design into the package. By showing relevant examples may help to seal that offer.

The albums contain examples of the bridal and groom preps, candid shots during the day, group shots, venue interior shots, couple shoot, ceremony procedures. During the meeting I describe my approach and clarify the details of the day. As a result, with the album presentation, I am able to present myself in a more professional level and pitch my approach through illustrations.
